IT 'Tomorrow' And 'Yesterday's', Is It An INFINITE-SOURCE ?
It was 10.30 in the night and the bus to my place of residence, 500 kms away from my place of ‘work’, scheduled at 9.30 PM had not arrived in the bus-stop.“Gosh! Its so late”!, said an elderly person. Next day morning, a competitive examination was scheduled there at my place.
It was very hot and humid and incessant consumption of cold drinks could do no better to keep the irate public cool and relaxed. They started abusing the staffs of the ticket counter who had managed to sell all the tickets by promising a timely and punctual service.
It was 11 in the night then and passengers were getting more and more irritated. The situation was going out of control and the otherwise docile public turned into a frenzied mob.
Luckily, a staff of the ticket counter had the cell phone number of the owner of the bus. At last, it was declared that due to a major technical failure of the bus, it was still in a workshop and would depart after twenty minutes.Passengers heaved a sigh of relief !
It was ‘mid-night’ then…..and half asleep in my seat, I was pondering….. if we had no cell phones (!), what would have been the situation !!
It’s surely ‘the technology’ that maintains everything in order and in place. But what about the people in ancient times? Was not their lifestyle hassle-free and their attitude cool and carefree ?
While science and technology act only as a temporary source of power and light in our lives, can they be worth searching for an INFINITE SOURCE ???
