With a heavy heart I am dragged on to scribble down the unfortunate,untimely,prematured and overwhelming news of the tragic demise of ISHMEET the DARLING MUSIC SENSATION of millions, no, to be more exact of billions of his fans worldwide, just today, at MALDIVES, few hours after his arrival there for a show scheduled to have been staged on August 1st, when swimming in the swimming pool of the resort of his stay he was drowned and ironically his soul mingled in the waters of THE INDIAN OCEAN.
I hasten to add few of his memorable performed numbers and his glowing and unforgettable winning moments of SVOI Grand Finale of 24th Nov. 2007.
Join with me in solidarity to wish and pray for his overwhelmed parents and family mental strength at this hour of their catastrophe.May ISHMEET'S SOUL rest in peace.

India today test-fired the 3000 km range surface-to-surface nuclear capable Agni-3 missile from the Wheelers' Island off Orissa coast.
The intermediate range ballistic missile was test-fired from a mobile launcher from the launch complex (LC-4) of the integrated test range (ITR) at about 0956 hours, defence sources said. The 16 metre-long and 1.8-metre wide missile roared into the sky in a vertically slanted position leaving behind a thick column of orange and white smoke and, within seconds, became invisible to the naked eye, an eyewitness said.
Agni-3 missile is fitted with on-board computer for its guidance system. A battery of sophisticated radars, electro-optic tracking systems, telemetric data centres in the mainland apart from two naval war ships anchored near the impact point, were engaged to monitor the entire trajectory in Wednesday's test launch.
"The test result will be known after detailed analyses of the flight data recovered," the sources said.
Weighing about 48 tonnes, the Agni-3 missile was first test-fired on July 9, 2006 but it failed to meet its mission objectives due to cascaded failure of booster flex nozzle controller.
However, during the second test conducted on April 12, 2007, the entire flight path of 15 minutes duration validated all mission objectives, they said.

Exchange programmes such as Fulbright Fellowships bring foreign students to US universities and allow American scholars to study abroad. Leading US universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) conduct ongoing collaborative research and educational projects with Indian institutions.
US educational institutions, from community colleges to universities, seek to attract foreign students, but after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, security concerns made student visa applications more cumbersome.
This is changing, according to Hughes, with the total number of student and exchange visas issued by the Department of State reaching an all-time high of 591,050 during fiscal year 2006.
"Student visa issuance in India was up by 32 percent over last year. Secretary (Condoleeza) Rice is committed to a transparent and efficient visa process and the Department of State has taken many steps to streamline those processes."
Through this visit to India — the second in a series of delegations focused on stronger academic partnerships initiated at the US University Presidents Summit on International Education in January 2006 - Hughes said she aims to send a clear message: "We want students around the world to know that the welcome mat is out for study in the United States."
Hughes' delegation includes Thomas A Farrell, deputy assistant secretary of state for academic programmes, and six university presidents from across the US: John J Bowen, Johnson and Wales University; Mark A. Emmert, University of Washington; Margaret B Lee, Oakton Community College; John M Lilley, Baylor University; James L Oblinger, North Carolina State University; and Eileen Wilson-Oyelaran, Kalamazoo College.
The group will meet academic, government and business leaders and students to communicate the diversity of opportunities American higher education offers and expand educational partnerships with Indian universities and students.
